The house was designed to incorporate an existing boulder as solar mass beneath a large skylight. The stone collects heat from the sun during the day, and releases it at night. This is an unusual and interesting way to utilize a common passive-solar concept.	The owners found used cathedral-style windows, and incorporated them into the house design. Beautiful and recycled! Building around the boulder.
